Step 2: Insert into the lovey
Slide the pad into the pocket inside the bottle-lovey.

Step 4: Bring comfort to feeding time
Your scent helps create a familiar and calming feeding experience.
Bottle refusal is a common problem
61% of moms who breastfeed experience bottle refusal with their baby[1]
During breastfeeding, babies experience familiar sensory cues: mom’s scent, warmth, softness, closeness.
When those cues disappear while transitioning to a bottle, some babies resist the change.
The power of mom's scent
Babies recognize mom's scent from birth. That familiar comfort helps soothe infants and encourages natural feeding.
Studies show that mom's scent can:
- Calm distressed infants
- Stimulate feeding instincts
- Support feeding behaviors
- Reduce stress response
Bottimals brings that familiar scent into bottle time, helping babies feel safe and supported — even when mom's not there
Brings comfort to your baby
Helps babies feel reassured during bottle feeds.
Supports breast-to-bottle transitions
Helps make the shift from breastfeeding to bottle feeding feel more familiar.
Gives your family more freedom
Makes it easier for mom to step away without worrying that your baby won't eat.
Encourages connection with caregivers
Helps dads and caregivers feel more involved and confident during feeding time.

My son has taken a bottle since birth and all of a sudden he isn't eating as much so I tried the bottle-lovey and I think it was the perfect thing! He looked at it and ate the easiest 2 ounces he's eaten all day. He was barely eating, we usually have to prop the twins and feed them with me sitting there or I try to hold one of them to feed and he was still barely latching on the bottle and I put the lovey on and he ate the best 2 ounces without coming off the bottle.

Leaving my son around his mealtime has always been a worry for me as an exclusively breastfeeding mom - what if he doesn't take the bottle since I'm not there? Well, Bottimals helped bridge that gap for those times that I can't *physically* be there, leaving a part of me still present for mealtime. It has made the transition to the bottle much easier for everyone. Our little guy has been loving his bottle-lovey and feeding like a champ!

My sweet nephew just did NOT want to settle and take a bottle this weekend while his mom was taking time with their toddler. I had a Bottimal we hadn’t tried yet as mom was primarily nursing the first few months. That did the trick! Pretty cool! Well fed baby, mom got bonding time with toddler— winning all around!

My son is exclusively breastfed. He will take a bottle, but its reluctantly. I was worried when he started daycare that he wouldn't take a bottle at all, so I purchased this to help. His teachers let him smell/hold the lovey rather than it be attached to the bottle, however it seems to work! He takes his bottles at daycare like a champ and gets the comforting smell of mom is the process.

Thanks to the bottle lovey our 7 month old is taking bottles with no issues when she had only ever finished one bottle in her life before it! I even took the lovey off to adjust it for just a second and she didn't want it until I put it back on! It helps her a lot and has totally changed our experience with bottles. I now am able to leave her with someone else, when that really wasn't an option before. Thank you!

I gave this as a gift. The mom to be was very happy to receive it and can’t wait for dad to give it a try!

This is a client I've had since birth and she was mostly breastfed but to let her mama sleep a little more we introduced bottles around 2-3 weeks. She did great with them while I was there but once our 6 weeks were up she wasn't getting bottles very often and then was mostly refusing them. I recommended mom try Bottimals! Today, was my first day back with them in a couple weeks and she took the bottle no problem while using the Bottimals bottle-lovey! Mom wore the hearts in her nursing bra while baby was sleeping and I popped it in when I made the bottle. This pic she isn't looking at it, but she was staring at that bunny pretty intently at times. Mom was actually in the room while I was feeding (and snagged this pic so that shows you how well Bottimals was working)!!!

This was a perfect gift for a friend who recently had a baby. She said it not only helps her but also helps her husband take turns feeding!

Finally tried our bottimal last night and it worked so well!! Jack is so fussy with bottles so we've barely been giving them to him but wanted to start reintroducing them again and he finished the whole bottle no crying or fussing! It's a miracle!

My 7-month-old has been struggling with distractions while eating. She's in the 0.6th percentile, so her not finishing bottles because of distractions was a huge issue for us. Her bottimal keeps her focused on the task of eating! It makes the bottle interesting again and she's back to eating full meals. We are so grateful!

My daughter struggled with taking the bottle from the time she was a few weeks old. She strongly preferred breastfeeding and it became so stressful because I was heading back to work a few months after she was born. I unfortunately had to keep delaying my return to work because we couldn’t get her to take a bottle. We tried all the different bottles on the market with no improvements. I then found Bottimals and tried the Bunny Bottle Lovey and my daughter made small, steady improvements with bottle acceptance each time she used it! One day she took half an ounce, the following day she took an ounce, then 1.5 ounces and so forth! She now loves her bottles and is truly thriving. It’s amazing that a product like this exists and is backed by so much evidence. It reassured me all along that my daughter would get it eventually. Thank you Bottimals!

My daughter has struggled with bottle feeding since she was a newborn and has always had a strong preference for nursing. Prior to using Bottimals, we tried several different bottle brands and my daughter would always scream even at the sight of the bottle. Using Bottimals consistently for several days really helped her get over the hump and each day she started accepting the bottle more and more. The field I work in as a speech pathologist particularly in the domain feeding disorders of all ages allowed me to rule out that her primary issue was not efficiency nor endurance/stamina but it was truly a preferential issue… Bottimals was an amazing tool to help my baby feel more at ease when she was struggling to take the bottle. The carefully thought-out design and evidence-based research used to create Bottimals is highly impressive. Highly recommend!

This unfortunately did not work for us with our bottle averse baby. It is a very well-made product though, and she snuggles the bottimal as a toy.

When our child was hysterically crying and refusing the bottle, our caretaker gave Bottimals a try. It immediately soothed our son and allowed him to take his bottle. For me, it was peace of mind that he had my scent and a little bit of me at every feed while I was working.

I can't say enough good things about Bottimals! My daughter Charlotte was having a hard time transitioning to a bottle after being exclusively breastfeed from birth. I didn't introduce a bottle to her until she was about 4 or 5 months old and so she refused to take it. Charlotte began taking a bottle more easily once we introduced the Bottimal with the little heart that smelled like me. Before, Charlotte would cry any time my mom would try to give her a bottle and now my mom can feel confident giving her a bottle when she watches her for me. (5 stars)
Katrina
After adding Bottimals to the bottle, there was a noticeable difference in how our 5 month old latched to the bottle. There was less struggle and tears. She was more relaxed.
Adrienne
My sister got her to take 1 ounce with the plushy on it! I’m so happy and excited!
Heather
I had a chance to use the plushy this morning. I can't believe she latched to it because she usually just chews it...she finished it.

This is such a great concept!
