Coming Full Circle: My First Interview as Bottimals’ Founder with Penn State

Did you see us in the news?

Recently, we did our first team interview through Penn State.

Some moments in life make you pause and reflect on just how far you’ve come — and for me, sitting down for my very first founder interview with my alma mater was one of those moments.

Walking into that conversation, I wasn’t just talking about a product. I was sharing my heart, my family’s story, and the journey that turned one of the most challenging feeding struggles of my life into Bottimals, a solution designed to help other parents navigate bottle refusal.

There was pride, of course — pride in showing how my degree and experiences at Penn State helped shape my ability to create, test, and launch a product that supports families. But there was also gratitude. Gratitude for mentors who encouraged me, for a supportive community, and for the chance to inspire other moms and students to turn challenges into innovation.

More than anything, it felt like a full-circle moment — proof that obstacles can become stepping stones when we’re brave enough to share our stories.

Being interviewed as a founder by Penn State wasn’t just recognition. It was a reminder that I’m part of something bigger: a community of dreamers, doers, and innovators who believe in turning ideas into impact.

And for me, that’s exactly what Bottimals is all about: helping families, one bottle-lovey at a time.
